Getting on with it.... and happy accidents.

I'm back in the studio again after half term activities last week, and I've cracked on with a new layer on both the Rollercoaster print and the Wheat In Glass print, and both are coming along well, with a few more layers to do on both before they're done. Here they are so far but....

......sometimes you make mistakes when you're printing. This time I managed to put the lino block in the press the wrong way round. However, it created some interesting effects and so i decided to continue with it as a bit of an experiment, and this it where its got to so far.....

.....it's got a ghostly under image and I'm really quite taken by the limited colour palette that is evolving here and think it may have to feature in some future pieces. Happy accident it is then!
